How to Fix Jammed Cassette Players and Keep Your Cassette Tapes Playing Music for Years
Cassette tapes are going the way of vinyl albums. While pre-recorded
cassette tapes probably should be tossed into the dustbin of history, I
truly miss the sight of a cassette player in the car. CD discs may be
said to be indestructible, but they sure do tend toward skipping and
freezing, though not nearly to the degree of DVDs, which I'm already
ready to toss into the archives. (Thank God for my USB option on my VCR/DVD recorder combination.) The great thing about a blank cassette is that you put 100 minutes of music onto them. Seems that if you try for anything more than 70 minutes on a
blank CD you'll run into trouble. And fixing a defective cassette tape
is easier than a defective CD.
